These Terms and Conditions may be updated to reflect changing business landscape in which we operate. Katsala Fashion Limited will publish information on updates on its Website (newsletter & blog section) and it is your responsibility to be updated as you use this Website. If you do not agree with the updated Terms and Conditions, please do not continue to use this Website.

Section 3: Eligibility for Use of this Website and Placing an Order
Only 18 years and over are eligible to register and use this Website. If you are under 18 years, you must seek formal consent of your parent / guardian to register and use this site. Correct information must be supplied when you register to use this Website. Katsala Fashion Limited reserves the right to cancel registration / suspend your account if any of these Terms & Conditions is breached without prior notification. If you decide to cancel your registration, you can write to us informing us of your decision to cancel your account/registration and you must stop using katsalafashion.com immediately. The suspension/cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Katsalafashion.com shall not affect either party’s rights or liabilities.

Section 4: Quality and Specification of Products
While great care is taken to make sure every product matches specification in terms of colour, size and appearance, the final product (bags & wallets) delivered may differ in colour, shape, form, design and appearance. Leather products displayed on this Website are crafted by local skilled craftsmen who, in some cases, use manual and traditional equipment and therefore the repeatability of a product may not be hundred percent. Minor marks and imperfection may occur as a result of these products are crafted by hand and not in a modernized factory setting.

Section 5: Prices
Prices of products displayed on this site are time-bound—prices are updated periodically. Katsala Fashion Limited shall not be held liable for a price that is out of date. Prices quoted are primarily in Pound Sterling (GBP). If other currency is used, the exchange rate used by the Customer’s bank will take effect.

Prices displayed are inclusive of UK and EU applicable taxes.

  • Delivery charges will be indicated clearly before an order is placed. The option to calculate shipping at check out is offered.
  • The Customer shall pay all customs fees, taxes, duties (where applicable) and the costs of returning any goods to Katsala Fashion Limited.

Section 6: Orders
Orders are dispatched from our store in Luton. Order placed are subject to availability and acceptance. Items placed in a shopping basket is not a guaranty that they are reserved for that Customer. These items may be purchased by other Customers.

Section 7: Payments
Katsala Fashion Limited accepts MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, Maestro and American Express. You can use these payments cards via Paypal or Nochex Katsala Fashion Limited uses SSL security technology to protect Customer’s details.

As far as it is allowable under the law, Katsala Fashion Limited shall not be liable for damage arising from or related to the actions of third party responsible for processing payments.

By placing an Order on katsalafashion.com and providing all information accurately, you warrant that you are the true holder of the account and the credit /debit card, or have valid authorisation; placing an order gives express authority to our payment processing provider to process payment.

Orders are processed only after successful payment. Where there is failure in processing the payment, an Order will be cancelled after 48 hours. The Customer will be notified of the cancellation via e-mail registered on katsalafashion.com.

Section 8: The Governing Laws
The Terms and Conditions outlined here are governed by and enacted in accordance with the laws of England and any problem or issue arising shall be decided by English Courts.

Materials displayed on Katsala Fashion Limited Website are crafted from animal leather in accordance with UK Laws. These materials may be inappropriate or entirely illegal in areas outside the UK. You are responsible for making sure the use of katsalafashion.com comply with local laws concerned.

Section 12: Customer Account
Each account created on katsalafashion.com comes with password. The password is the key to your account and should not be disclosed at any time. It is the responsibility of the Customer to protect his/her password/account from unauthorised use. If you noticed any suspicious activity on your account, please notify us as soon as possible. If we notice any security concern or anything that may hamper the health of katsalafashion.com, we will advise on necessary action to take which may be in form of asking you to change your password or to contact your banks, or as the situation dictates.

Section 13: Delivery of An Order
Once full payment for a product from Customer is received, Order will be shipped. Katsala Fashion Limited uses Royal Mail as a default courier provider and where otherwise, it will be stated clearly in the Customer’s Order. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure someone is present at the delivery address to receive the Order. Katsala Fashion Limited shall not be liable for additional costs arising as a result of the Customer not being present when the Orders was delivered at the designated address.

Katsala Fashion Limited makes effort to ensure orders are delivered within the stipulated period with respect to the nature of the order. However, the nature of the order, in addition to other applicable factors, may necessitate longer delivery period. The Customer shall be notified if there is any anticipated delay and in such circumstance, the updated delivery time shall override the default e-mail sent out when the Order was placed.

The Customer is responsible for verifying and providing accurate address for delivery. Where inaccurate information was provided by the Customer, the Customer shall be liable for costs, loss or damage arising from that.

Once payments is received, the ownership of the product will be transferred to the Customer. Risks in respect of the product will be passed to the Customer once dispatched through the designated courier. Orders are covered by the courier’s insurance which is subject to terms and conditions of the insurance.

Section 14: Cancellation and Returns
We strive to ensure our customers are happy with their purchase but should you are not happy with your purchase, you are entitled to cancel the Order within 14 days of receipt of the product. Sale and promotion items must be returned within 7 days.

Cancellation can be done only when the product has not been used, not washed (if applicable), intact in its original packaging, labels and tags intact. The Customer shall bear the cost of returning the product. If the goods are faulty or do not comply with the contract, Katsala Fashion Limited will bear the cost of returning the product(s).

Once a product has been received and carefully examined, the Customer shall be reimbursed the price paid for the product, excluding applicable delivery charges. The Merchant shall not reimburse any delivery charges related to the order. Where the Merchant has to issue credit with respect to the reimbursement, it will be in Customer’s original currency used when the purchase was made.

Where possible, please get certificate/proof of postage and retain this until reimbursement or replacement has been made.

Any product returned must tally with the Customer’s prove of purchase. The product must be returned to the address designated by the Merchant.

This clause does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.

Section 15: Product Warranties and Liability
As permitted by the law:

Katsala Fashion Limited makes no warranties or representations in respect of products sold to Customers;

Katsala Fashion Limited shall not be liable for any damage, injury, loss, cost or expense suffered or incurred by the Customer as a result of products sold by the Merchant; and the Customer indemnifies and holds Katsala Fashion Limited, its officers, employees, agents and contractors harmless against all claims, liability, injury, losses, costs, expenses and penalties arising from or related to the products sold by the Katsala Fashion Limited or the use of such products.

Section 15: Bulk Orders
Once bulk orders is placed, our manufacturers are contacted where processing of the order begins. Materials are sourced locally which are subject to availability and other local applicable conditions. Time estimated to get the order delivered to the Customer may vary due to local conditions and shipment to the UK. Where there are emerging concerns, the customer shall be updated regularly of the status of the Order.

We disclaim the following liabilities:

Katsala Fashion Limited does not guaranty nor will it be held liable for such offline time and is hereby indemnified from any loss, damage, claims, costs or penalties incurred as a result of such unavailability.

The Customer shall not use the Website in such a way that is unlawful or disturbs the peace of other Customers. The Customer shall also not infect the Website with viruses, malicious code, destructive content, nor interfere with the content of the Website.
